Creating decadent packaging for Belgrove

Sip Studio has worked with Belgrove since the start, designing the logo and packaging for the Hazelnut Rum launch. Founder Edmund Wood wanted to create a rum that looked as beautiful as craft gin and tasted as delicious as a single malt whisky. From the initial meeting with Ed it was clear that this rum was all about quality. Smooth Guyanan rum blended with luxurious, 100% natural flavours.

With a new flavour extension in development, brand owner Ed briefed us to design the labels for a Spiced Fig and Blackberry variant. In line with the brand’s growth we decided to tweak the original design, adding flavour illustrations to the sides of the label and rewriting the copy to fit the new liquid. The final packaging reflects the quality of the liquids with luxury finishes that position it perfectly at the high end bars and retailers the brand was targeting.
